John will today host the launch of this scheme in Parliament with Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Terence Kealey.

The Buckingham Bangladesh Scholarship reflects two things: the importance placed on higher education by the Bangladeshi community and the University of Buckingham's recognition of the value of developing individuals through an intensive student centred university experience.

John Bercow is delighted to host the launch event. He said, “The University of Buckingham is an excellent facility and I am pleased to lend my support to this programme, which will widen access to such a superb and unique institution. I am delighted to host the launch of the University of Buckingham’s Bangladesh Scholarship and I hope that the event will be both enjoyable for everyone who attends and a guide to the University's latest initiative.”
