A new satellite post office is to open in Twyford. The service, which will operate on Thursdays and Fridays, will be based at the village’s United Reformed Church.

John said, “I am delighted by this news. At a time when rural Post Offices are really struggling, it is excellent that Twyford is bucking the trend. The new service is testament to the determination of local residents to preserve this amenity for the local community. I pay tribute to those involved and I look forward to visiting in the very near future.”
