John Bercow has written to the local press praising the 2008-9 Youth Project, a drama based performance by students at the Buckingham School and the Royal Latin School.

On Friday 13th March, I was delighted to attend the 2008-9 Youth Project, a drama based performance by students at the Buckingham School and the Royal Latin School at the Buckingham Community Centre. It was an excellent performance and I would like to congratulate the students who made it such a success, their drama teachers who helped them and the Events Committee of Buckingham Town Council for thoughtfully sponsoring the occasion.

I for one hope that it will be the first of many such events which bring the two schools together and put on worthwhile entertainment for local residents. Thoughts are already turning to the possible next event and I hope that through your newspaper local people will be encouraged to attend.
