John was delighted to address the 1st Brill Scout Group on 16th October about his dual roles as Speaker and constituency Member of Parliament.

John said, “I was thrilled to meet the Scouts and to talk about both my continued commitment to represent the Buckingham Constituency as I have consistently sought to do since my election in 1997, as well as my determination to discharge my responsibilities as Speaker to best possible effect. I hugely enjoy meeting local groups like this. The Scouts, their leaders and parents were a great audience and I commend their efforts.”
