Local MP, John Bercow, took part in a Q&A session on ‘Being and Feeling Safe in Buckingham’ with Year 10 students from the Buckingham School and the Royal Latin School.

John was joined on the panel by Chris Wayman, Buckingham Town Clerk; Inspector Emma Garside, Thames Valley Police; Cllr Lisa O’Donoghue, Deputy Mayor; Cllr Robin Stuchbury, Buckingham Town Council and James Fowler, Youth Services, Mobile and Detached Team, Bucks County Council.

The panel answered questions on subjects including the summer stabbings, security at the Charter Fair, disruption caused by university students’ late night parties, problems between students from rival schools and how to tackle underage drinking in Buckingham.
