Local MP John Bercow attended a meeting at the Baptist Church in Bell Street in Princes Risborough to discuss the future of Royal British Legion in the town.

The recent sale of the Memorial Hall has left the Royal British Legion branch without a base.

The hall was built and paid for by war veterans from the town after World War Two.

John Bercow said:
"We now need to make sure RBL HQ honour the deeds of the building, which say if the hall is sold the money should be used to purchase other property."

"The battle now is to ensure the branch has a decent facility." he added.
