John joined divers at the Swan Pool in Buckingham on 5th September who were participating a 24 hour dive in aid of the Cancer Active charity. John opened the proceedings at 3pm and participants then took the plunge, keeping up the pace for the full 24 hours raising £1700. This amount is still growing.

John, pictured here with Stowe Sub Aqua Club’s Diving Officer, Roger Bray, said, “I am always struck by the determination and enthusiasm of local fundraisers. This is one of the most unusual charity events I have ever been involved with and I very much hope that it will become an annual event.”
