John Visits Aston Clinton Football Club

On 28th November, John visited Aston Clinton FC to discuss the plan to take away 2 of the Club’s pitches, as well as health and safety issues. (Photo: The Bucks Herald)

John said, “I am concerned that there is conflict between the wishes of the Club and the Parish Council. I hope that the conflict can be resolved and a compromise reached to ensure that maximum opportunity can be provided for people, especially young people, who want to play football to do so. It makes sense in terms of health benefits, social integration, tackling anti-social behaviour and encouraging people to fulfil their potential to provide as much support for them as possible.

Where there are two differing points of view in a situation such as this I will always listen to both viewpoints and try to help to find a mutually agreeable solution.”
