On 20th March, John was delighted to open the 4th Winslow Beer Festival. The Festival is now firmly established as an annual event and enjoys good support from the local community. There were some 40 beers and 3 ciders on offer over the three festival sessions, including a special ‘Winslow Pride’ brew created specially for the Festival by Frog Island Brewery.

John – seen here with Martin Caulfield, President of the Lions Club of Winslow which organises the event – said, “The Winslow Beer Festival goes from strength to strength and I am delighted to hear that this year’s event has raised around £8,500. I know that the money will be put to good use assisting older people in the Winslow community and I pay tribute to the hard work of the Lions Club. I am already looking forward to the 2010 Festival which I am sure will be better than ever!”
